About Subtitling

When Subtitling: It is simple with Window Live Movie Maker

Subtitling has always been a matter of spending time. The subtitle dialogs allow us to import, export, create, and edit subtitles for the current sequence of a clip, video or a movie. In order to that, we must make sure that a sequence should have added a clip. Subtitling is a full linked procedure of less than time minutes involvements.
For translators, subtitling would be a profitable project, especially, when payment is attached to (per/minutes). Actually, a translator can obtain more than he/she gains in a textual task rate, or per/hour interpreting rate in subtitling due to hard work and the long time spent on arranging the subtitles underneath the scene. Some companies provide the software with the translation task as a conditioned term. Bidding for such translation tasks must be by a professional translator who knows a lot about subtitling software and never, by any mean, waist the agency's time.
I tried the NCH Software lately, the Video Pad Editor, and it was a full detailed program with professional tools and tutorials that enable users to become more acquainted with such programs in the future. The software can be downloaded for a demo try, but with restricted features, for evaluation, until buying it. I found its tutor's help very much of an assistance. The movie, video or clip is opened, then dropped as a new sequence. Each subtitling line should be set by a red beginning and a blue end cursor, to determine the length of that line. The desired subtitles will be added consequently.
Its video editor (VideoPad) enables the user to load and create clips and simply follow the instructions to complete the project. The final video can be converted and saved as a video file, burnt to a video DVD, or uploaded to the internet. Other facilities of the software involve a powerful kit that contains a lot of audio, detection (court conference recorders), and a FastFox typing expander that enables users to create shortcuts in order to save time, telephony, business, video, graphics and utility converters to even strengthen the software as the 'fully' integrated one.
It is a must to use a professional software when handling big projects that need time and work scheduling, especially when committing to big agencies, as well. But, when going back to window office, to subtitle home or small videos and clips, where window live movie maker is already installed, subtitling from there is much easier. The sequence is already there, featured in the same video automatically dropped to be dealt with, and the processes of subtitling are easily guided, providing decision to set the length of lines in seconds, and simply added either, without dropping down the clip or video separately, or create a separated sequence. Lines' format and editing are much easier and can be set manually. It's like; well, anyone can do it!

I really had fun trying the NCH software, and every day I discover something new that completes my knowledge and experience in subtitling. It is necessary to use plans and professional tools before committing to any translation task. It will also make our resumes look better, when mentioning such experiences, in the future.
Good luck to all.
